Sparklehood's mission is to help founders in their 0 to 1 journey in building companies that can change the world. Visionary founders prefer to raise capital from other founders and experienced operators who can help beyond just capital. ‍ But similar to starting a company, the beginning of journey as an angel investor comes with risk and uncertainty. ✔ How much capital should I allocate? ✔ What is the correct valuation, & what should a term sheet cover? ✔ How do I get access to opportunities in an industry of my interest? ✔ How should I evaluate a startup? ✔ How should I assess the team’s expertise to solve a particular problem? ✔ How much importance does traction have in the startup's growth at present? ✔ And much more! Our goal is to build an amazing network propelled by a peer based learning environment around cohorts of established founders, investors, and people who have the fire within them; helping them accelerate their journeys to becoming world-class angel investors.

As a Sparkle Angel Participant, you should ideally be: ✔ A current or past founder or a senior, with a deep understanding of your market and you are looking for angel investing. ✔ An angel investor looking to find the right deals and accelerate your investments. ✔ An individual looking to learn the tricks of angel investment and find the right deals for starting your angel investment journey.

We understand that everyone in the program has a busy schedule and multiple personal commitments which might impact their weekly engagement and that’s okay. Between attending sessions, founder pitches, and curated AMA sessions with experienced investors, you can expect ~2-4 hours per week engagements during the program. We have intentionally structured the program with your schedules in mind, allowing for structured sessions, a speaker series, and other activities during the morning of weekends. We shall also record, share sessions and engage on our platform. A similar structure shall continue throughout the annual membership. Following one of the first principles of angel investment, there’s no pressure to invest in any company or founder you meet. There will be sufficient number of deals in the community for you to make an informed decision. You can invest at your own pace.

Yes. Sparkle Angel Investment Program will always run completely remote. At some point of time, we would like to have events like dinners, small gatherings, or retreats, but the core Membership will always remain a remote-first experience.

Primarily, no. We expect that the participants will be experienced and new angel investors, founders and senior management who plan to continue with their “day job” and continue investing on the side.

After the end of 4-week program, you will get access to the community, cohort and all the resources and network for a period of one year.

After one year of membership, your membership shall be extended for another year if you have made an investment of $10,000 during the year. Alternatively, you will have the opportunity to renew your membership for a nominal amount of $200 (introductory pricing). If you choose not to renew your membership, you will lose access to all Sparklehood platforms, networks, and content.
